Sean Cody’s Dax Makes Hardcore Debut (And No, The 2000+ Deleted Sean Cody Videos Still Aren’t Back)
Sean Cody newcomer Dax (as seen above) makes his hardcore sex scene debut being topped by Asher today, but first, here’s a brief update on the 2000+ deleted Sean Cody videos (essentially, the studio’s entire catalog from 2001 through 2015) that were taken down from the site over two months ago.
Str8Up’s original report on the missing videos is here, but in short, while nearly all the videos are still gone, it appears little by little, a few of the 2000+ videos are being re-uploaded to the site every few weeks. We know this because after the initial mass purge back in December, the total number of videos on the site was in the low 600s. Last month, that number went up to around 700 and remained there for several weeks. Today, the number of videos on the site is up to 764:
While it’s too time consuming to figure out which specific videos were added (and 764 is nowhere close to the nearly 3000 videos that should be there), it appears there are now several more solos from 2003-2004 and 2009-2011 than there were on the site last month. The most popular models and scenes (Jess, Calvin, Brooks, etc.) are of course all still missing, but at least it looks like they’re making a small effort to resolve whatever their problem is. (As previously theorized, my best guess is the videos were pulled down in connection with Visa and Mastercard’s investigation of MindGeek content following the Pornhub debacle. Given that all the videos removed were produced by Sean Cody’s previous owner and not MindGeek, MindGeek is likely reviewing old videos and paperwork for compliance, 2257 documentation, and other adult industry regulations that credit card companies require in order to process payments. Reps for Sean Cody would neither confirm nor deny this theory, and they’ve still offered no explanation to customers as to what happened.) If they’re re-uploading less than one hundred videos to the site per month, perhaps the site will be back to normal by…2023?
