Media Mogul David Geffen Marries Former Randy Blue Gay Porn Star Brandon Foster (a.k.a. Donovan Michaels)
Congratulations are in order for billionaire David Geffen and former gay porn star Donovan Michaels, who were reportedly married over the weekend in Beverly Hills, California. The news comes from gossip columnist Roger Friedman:
Exclusive: Sources tell me David Geffen got married over the weekend. The 80-year-old billionaire wed his 30-year-old boyfriend Donovan Michaels in Beverly Hills, they say. Two couples attended the small ceremony which was held in the shroud of secrecy.
While Friedman apparently isn’t aware that Donovan Michaels used to be known as gay porn star Brandon Foster, eagle-eyed social media users were able to make the connection at the end of 2022 when David Geffen posted the above image of him and Michaels on a yacht, captioning the Instagram photo, “Merry Christmas indeed!” As Str8Up then reported on New Year’s Day, Geffen swiftly deleted the photo after users began leaving comments about Michaels’ 2014 work as a powertop in two hardcore gay porn scenes at Randy Blue. So, the weekend wedding ceremony being held in a “shroud of secrecy” should come as no surprise.
That being said, why would Geffen marry the guy if he’s so dead set on keeping their marriage a secret? Seems like that would be too much of a hassle. Then again, Geffen has had so many complex relationships with so many different gay porn stars over the years, he’s well-accustomed to doing things behind closed doors. Maybe he likes the drama of it all.
