Let’s hope that this is either a joke or a rash decision that he’ll change his mind about in the coming days, but “as of this moment,” gay porn star Johnny Rapid has announced his retirement, and based on the tweet below, it appears his decision was influenced by the coronavirus pandemic:
Johnny Rapid—who’s been performing for the better part of a decade in over 200 gay porn scenes—linked to his recently launched studio in his tweet (which was updated yesterday), and I reached out to him for clarification regarding the retirement:
I’ll update this post should Johnny respond, but it’s safe to assume that he definitely won’t be filming new content in the coming days, if ever again.

As reported earlier today, Falcon Studios isn’t filming right now either, and their productions have been postponed through the end of March. But, some studios are still shooting, as evidenced by performer Daniel Hausser’s tweet today, in which he said he’ll be on set for the next four days:

ADDED: Late tonight, performer Joey Mills tweeted that coronavirus has “officially compromised my life.” I’ve reached out to him for clarification (hopefully it just means that shoots have been canceled, and Joey hasn’t been exposed to the virus) and will update this story if he responds.
