Exclusive: TheGuySite Gay Porn Star Richard Lam (a.k.a. “Ludvig”) Charged With Murdering Studio Owner

Str8Up can now confirm that Richard Lam (a.k.a. gay porn star Ludvig) has been charged with murdering TheGuySite owner William Futral. After allegedly killing him, Tampa police say that Lam also stole Futral’s car, and officers have been tracking him for the last several days. Lam has been charged with murder (the degree has not been stated, but the complaint should be released soon) and grand theft auto. Investigators claim that Lam’s fingerprints were found at the scene of the crime, and that Lam and Futral were “known to each other.” Authorities still aren’t naming Futral as the victim, but Str8Up was already first to confirm that Futral, owner of gay porn studio TheGuySite, was indeed the victim. Tampa Police arrested 28-year-old Richard Lam and charged him with murdering an adult white male in his early 50’s and then stealing his car.
On the afternoon of May 1, 2023, Tampa Police responded to the report of a maintenance worker finding the deceased body of an adult male inside a residence at the Beck Apartments, located at 8801 Hidden River Parkway, the victim of upper body trauma.
Investigators immediately began gathering evidence and developing leads in the case. Surveillance footage collected during the investigation also showed Lam near the residence at the time of the murder. Fingerprints found at the scene were identified as belonging to Lam. The investigation also proved that Lam and the victim were known to each other.
On May 2, the victim’s vehicle was located in West Palm Beach County. The Tampa Police Department Fugitive Apprehension Unit (FAU) was able to determine Lam’s location. Working closely with partners from the US Marshals Office, FAU officers were able to apprehend and arrest Lam on Monday morning.
Lam was charged with Murder and Grand Theft Motor Vehicle.
Next up will be Lam’s arraignment, where he’s expected to enter a plea, and Str8Up will be following this case as it proceeds.

After a week-long manhunt in Florida, Str8UpGayPorn can confirm that Miami-Dade police have arrested convicted felon Richard Lam. Lam is a gay-for-pay porn star who used the name “Ludvig” at gay porn studio TheGuySite, whose owner was found brutally murdered earlier this month. Lam’s mug shot from today’s arrest is above.
Lam was arrested today after a warrant was issued 10 days ago by police in Orange County, Florida, where Lam is on felony probation for a domestic violence strangulation conviction last year. Lam is being held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center in Miami. The warrant was issued after Lam violated his probation, but because the warrant is still under seal, it’s not known what new charge(s) he’s facing. Sources have confirmed to Str8Up that Lam lived with the murdered owner of TheGuySite, and the two had a “volatile” relationship. As of post time, it’s not yet confirmed if Lam is being charged with murder, and Str8Up is waiting for a copy of the unsealed warrant, which will explain how he violated the terms of his probation.
As Str8UpGayPorn was first to report exclusively last week, TheGuySite owner William Futral was found dead in his Tampa apartment on May 1st, and the arrest warrant was issued for Richard Lam on May 5th. Since his debut in late 2020, Lam performed as “Ludvig” in nearly two dozen hardcore gay sex videos on TheGuySite. In 2021, Lam was arrested and charged with raping an unidentified man in Florida, and the charge was later reduced to domestic violence strangulation, to which he pleaded no contest in 2022.
