If at first you don’t succeed, try again?

Gay porn star Jarec Wentworth (a.k.a. Teofil Brank) had his appeal denied by the Ninth Circuit back in February, but the convicted extortionist has filed a request asking the court to consider hearing yet another appeal. In the request, Wentworth says that “so-called victim Donald Burns” has been “flying young boys across state lines” and paying them for sex, which Burns did in fact admit to on the witness stand during the 2015 trial. Burns admitting to breaking the law by hiring men (most of whom were Sean Cody models) for sex and flying them across the country is a separate crime unrelated to Wentworth’s extortion, so I don’t think the court will grant him another hearing, unfortunately.

Here’s the brief asking for the second appeal, in which Wentworth again claims that his defense team was in collusion with Burns and the prosecutors, and that there is evidence being withheld that would prove his innocence. The court has until July 5th to answer Wentworth’s brief.
