Hoss Kado Exclusive: How The Gay Porn Star Is Able To Shoot “Unlimited Cum,” Why He Wants To Be Double-Penetrated, And More!
While some might have seen gay porn star Hoss Kado in action for the first time in his recent GuysInSweatpants fourgy, others will remember that he started performing in scenes nearly 10 years ago. Today, the talented and adventurous star talks to Str8UpGayPorn about when and why he started performing, what he’s been up to over the last decade, what he has planned for this year, and a lot more.
Str8UpGayPorn: Hello, Hoss! Let’s go back several years, before you started in gay porn. When and why did you decide to become a performer?
Hoss Kado: I first started adult work in 2009, with Sean Cody. I was a nutrition science student at the University of Minnesota, and I was sick of being the curve-ruining, always studying, never having any fun type of guy. I loved the idea of medicine, and I was also pre-med, but frankly didn’t believe in traditional medicine, and still don’t. I shadowed many doctors and none of them seemed happy. Money isn’t everything, so I took a risk. I had the body, and I felt like doing something completely unconventional. So, I did, and I haven’t looked back!
Did you apply to Sean Cody? How did you end up becoming a performer there?
I had a local Minneapolis “agent” who had recommended some models to them. I can’t remember how I met him exactly, but we took some photos and sent them in, and I was approved! I was actually doing mainstream modeling at the time, as I wrote nutrition articles for an LGBT magazine out of the Twin Cities, LAVENDER Magazine.
And how old were you then?
I was either 21 or 22, and I’m 31 now, so I have about ten years in the industry.
That’s longer than a majority of the guys working today.
It seems like a lot, but from 2012 through today I’ve been almost exclusively working through my BDSM director/producer role, out of our basement dungeons in Minneapolis. I’m now leaving that job to get back into mainstream adult work, as that’s where I belong and have the most fun.
Your scenes at Sean Cody were vanilla, so how did you transition into the BDSM performances? Have you always enjoyed doing that kind of work?
I had zero experience in any porn or kink work before I moved into “dungeon city” in April, 2009. I found an ad on Craigslist for free rent during my senior year of college at the University of Minnesota, and I was a houseboy who cleaned in my underwear! Fun! I slowly started helping out with the shoots in the house via filming and acting, while working in several research labs at school. I fell in love with the work and the industry in general.
Is kink and BDSM what you prefer in your personal life, off camera?
In my personal life, I actually prefer softer, more sensual play, preferably with lots of oils and massage and teasing. But, I do enjoy challenging myself and seeing how much pain I can take. A cum shot after going through a long sub session is so cathartic. Worth it every time. And I love the dom role because, well, who doesn’t like to treat a bitch boy however he desires?
How do you identify sexually?
I’m bisexual, and I like men and women lovers in my life at all times. I’m totally 50/50 on everything from men to women, sub to dom, and bottoming to topping. You ladies better have a strap-on for special occasions! And men, just get hard for me!
You mentioned returning to more mainstream porn. What prompted that decision, and will you also continue to perform in BDSM scenes?
Honestly, we have just had too many disagreements and drama building up in the household where I live and work. I live and work with my boss, and two other helpers who are younger gay males.
Wow, that is a lot. I can’t imagine living with people who I work with.
It’s drama, drama drama, and I don’t have full creative control here. I like mainstream porn as much as the kink work—although, I prefer a mix of both—and I want full creative control of what I am creating when not working with studios. I think we know where this goes next.
Starting your own site, or making videos for some of the clip sites?
Right. My own porn site, or OnlyFans, where I work with tons of guys—and maybe some women every now and again, for the bi fans—to create hot shit under my full control. I got bored with BDSM, especially when it’s all you do and you have to do everyone’s jobs for them, because your helpers suck ass. If I’m going to be working that hard doing what I love, I’m going to do it my way, even if that means a struggle during the transition. I’m totally open to any kink or BDSM work with other studios, and plan to include my own creative BDSM/fetish content on any sites I film with.
You recently filmed with GuysInSweatpants. Can you tell us how that went and who you filmed with?
Austin is the shit. We had so much fun. My first scene was with Greyson Lane, and it was his first studio weekend in the adult industry. I like shy guys, and he was. We did a little switching in the scene and had a third join later. I’ll leave that for the videos coming out soon. I definitely pulled a little trick of mine at the end of that scene, too!
Can’t wait to see it. And, of course, that fourgy that came out a couple weeks ago. What was it like filming that?
The fourgy was me, Miller Axton, Vincent O’Reilly, and Mateo Vice. We all have 100% compatible personalities and interests, so we clicked on all levels, even before the cameras turned on. There was tons of versatile switching throughout the foursome, and everyone got a taste of everyone. Awesome guys to work with for my first scene back. My mind, butt, and cock left very happy!
Around the same time you filmed with GISP, you had that Trump video come out. How did the idea come about to jerk off into the mask, and did you think it was going to blow up as big as it did?
Honestly, it should blow up more than it has. I don’t care if a person loves Trump or hates him, it is just funny ass shit! I love to joke around, and my fans know that. It was Austin’s mask, and we all know about Trump’s piss fetish, so we were joking about making a video of us pissing on the mask. I was horny, the Trump mask was there, so I asked Austin if I could “borrow” it for a second, or something like that. I was honestly going to just do a quick dirty jerk and piss video, but I was having way too much fun with it. I am not a huge fan of silicone lube, but Trump’s mouth fit so perfectly on my cock, so I was able to squeeze three cum shots and some piss out, amidst the usual joking around and nonsense.
In one of your other movies that you filmed, you were able to shoot 12 cum shots in under one hour. How is that humanly possible?
I discovered this trick last year, at age 30, after a long golf trip weekend. I was hungover, hadn’t jerked off in a week, and just wanted to keep jerking after I came, so I did. I pumped out five in about 10 minutes without going soft. I wish I could tell you how I do it, but I honestly have no idea. Good genes in the nutsack and a super-sensitive dick-head would be my best guesses. I could have kept going after 12, and I’m pretty sure that is a world record. And note that I was talking and joking around the entire time in that video, so it wasn’t just jerking. It’s never just jerking with me. My superpower is unlimited cum. There is your answer. Come milk me, LMFAO.
When you’re working with others, how do you know that you’re turning in a great performance, and what do you do to ensure that you’re creating a great scene?
In all honestly, I don’t think about it too much. The best scenes come when you’re not acting. I get the chance to work with super sexy models on a regular basis, and I just get into it and do what feels right. In my opinion, studios get too caught up in the structure. If they would just let models go at it, they would get much more quality content, in much less time.
What do you look for or appreciate the most in a scene partner?
A fun-loving, easy-going nature. I don’t like high maintenance. It’s a huge turn-off. Just be yourself, have fun, and if you have a problem or a suggestion, speak up. Obviously muscles, abs, a thick cock, and a bubble butt are welcomed. Also, age doesn’t matter, race doesn’t matter, and experience doesn’t matter. The most important thing is chemistry of minds. If we get along outside of a scene in terms of deep conversation and life interests, I’m going to want to fuck the shit out of you, or want you to breed me over and over, LOL.
Going back to the Sean Cody work in 2009, what did you like best about your time filming with them?
I enjoyed all my scenes. One moment of interest was my first time taking “anything” in my “straight” ass—straight, until my late 20s, when I finally ventured out and enjoyed it—and I literally had to ask if his 10-inch cock was in yet, when it already was. Whoops.
You got fucked by Tommy, Kurt, and Landon, who is still working with Sean Cody today. Do you have a favorite scene from your time there?
My favorite scenes were with Landon and Tommy. A beautiful black boy in Landon, and a vibey-jokester twink top in Tommy. I also self-sucked in one of them, I think with Tommy. In any case, they are a bit more professional than I enjoy at Sean Cody. I prefer the laid back and more interactive style of GuysInSweatpants, as you can get more real in the scenes. But, I enjoyed Sean Cody tremendously, and they were great to work with in all respects.
When you’re not performing, what do you do in your free time? Also, are you single or in a relationship right now?
I don’t believe in monogamy, so I have flings from time to time, when I have time to do so. I like to play hockey, hike, travel, cook, listen to music and dance, go out to live music shows at local bars, and hang out with friends, doing whatever. I have way too many favorite TV shows and movies, and would rather be smoking herb watching them than anything else in my free time. If I’m not doing that, I’m thinking of and creating fun, kinky porn. That is my passion, and what I dedicate all my time to. I lift weights pretty regularly as my “zen” time as well.
Performing in gay porn has become less taboo than it was nine years ago when you started, and it’s something that performers are more open about with friends and family. Do you discuss your work with people?
I hid it from my friends and family for the first couple years, and then I told them. Some think it’s cool, others get that look on their face like it’s a “dirty” industry. My family loves me, but they don’t get what I do, nor do they ever want to talk about it, so we aren’t very close, and never will be. I have a few close friends who get it and love to talk about it and ask questions, and considering it is my entire life, those are the only people I’m interested in spending time with and caring about. People need to open up their minds and quit being stuck up bitches, in my opinion.
It’s so weird that, in 2018, some people still freak out when they hear the word “porn,” let alone “gay porn.”
I make it a point to make everyone around me feel uncomfortable with fun gay porn jokes all the time, especially with my straight friends. I don’t take shit from anybody, and if someone doesn’t like what I do, they can fuck off, and I won’t give them the time of day. It’s just who I am. I couldn’t imagine doing anything else or having as much fun doing anything else. Their loss.
As a performer, what advice would you give to someone thinking of becoming a gay porn star?
Don’t rush into it, and make sure you start with studios you are comfortable with for your first several times, as they will help you get your name out there. A lot of dirty studios out there will take advantage of you and fuck you over, so find trustworthy friends in the industry to help you as you first get your name out there. Additionally, if you are just doing it for the money, don’t do it. Go be a doctor. Some models have sugar daddies, but most of us work our asses off every day doing what we love. I would work less and make more as a doctor, but that is not the life I enjoy. I do this to connect with people sexually and connect with people through conversations off camera. My “Fuck Family” makes me happy every day, simple as that.
You’ve done a lot of things in your scenes, but is there anything you haven’t done on camera yet that you’d like to try?
I have triple penetrated with dildos and swallowed butt plugs with my ass, but I’ve never been double-penetrated with two real cocks. So, I think it would be super fun to be double-penetrated, with a third dick in my mouth, and jerking myself to completion. Just a total workout of my entire body. Yes, that! I would also love to fuck Sasha Grey—my favorite porn star—on camera or off.
What do you have planned in the coming months for fans to look forward to?
Working with as many studios as possible, and enhancing my OnlyFans page to include everything from solos to duos with multiple models. Everything from basic sex to the craziest kinks and fetishes, and BDSM. I want to eventually create my own site, collaborating with other studios and hopefully traveling the world, working with fun people and creating content that blows everything else out of the water. I’d also like to get back into live camming, when I’m settled in a new home again. The live aspect and making personal videos on special request are two of my favorite things.
Finally, before I let you go, what are you looking forward to the most in 2018?
Being myself within this adult industry, without anyone to answer to. Finally. I’ve developed every skill to do anything within the industry, with my director’s background. I know what tools I need, and I know what I want to do with it. It will be a process, and it will take time, and it’s honestly scary as fuck, but I’m having too much fun with it, and I’m pushing forward to make my dreams a reality. It’s all about just having a fun-loving time, with great models and great fans getting off together.
Thank you so much for opening up and taking the time to talk, Hoss!
