Answered Prayers: Tears, Torment, & Temptation In CockyBoys’ “Lamb”
CockyBoys has just released the trailer for the 4th installment of Answered Prayers, the critically acclaimed series that’s turned gay porn (not to mention our expectations of what gay porn should be) completely on its head and left people like me basically speechless. This episode, “The Lamb,” is no exception. Visually, I’ve never seen anything like it—be it in gay porn or mainstream films.
“The Lamb” comes with a bit of real life drama and art imitating life, as the title character is played by Max Ryder, who recently parted ways with CockyBoys and then had a Twitter meltdown about it. It’s still unclear (to me) what the falling out was over since Max Ryder deleted all his tweets within seconds of posting them—and that’s probably for the best; Max’s performance in “The Lamb” speaks for itself.
This is the episode that director Jake Jaxson was able to get Dean Monroe to come out of retirement for (news I first broke in March), and it also stars Max Carter, Duncan Black, and Jake Bass.
This is Max Ryder’s last film with CockyBoys and, presumably, his last adult film ever. Or…is it? With all the comebacks, twists, changed minds, and drama in this industry, nothing would surprise me. Still, it’s great to see him one last time (for now?) in what has to be his best work ever.
