[UPDATED] Racist Gay Porn Star Antonio Biaggi Says He’s Running For City Commissioner In Wilton Manors, Florida

Gay porn star Antonio Biaggi made headlines in 2015 and 2017 for his use of racial slurs on social media and a $14,000,000 defamation lawsuit filed against him for allegedly harassing a black Virginia man. Now, in a series of social media posts and a recently launched GoFundMe campaign, the former Raging Stallion star claims that he’s running for city commissioner in Wilton Manors, Florida:

Biaggi—who’s now using the name Antonio Melecio—can be seen in the below campaign ad with a man identified as his husband and two small dogs:

While Biaggi starred in dozens of gay porn scenes throughout the late 2000’s and early 2010’s, his career took a bizarre and ugly turn in 2015, when Str8UpGayPorn reported that Biaggi was facing a $14,000,000 defamation lawsuit for harassing and defaming a man on social media. The lawsuit—in which Biaggi allegedly used his Facebook and Twitter accounts to publish multiple defamatory statements about a black Virginia man—went into settlement out of court and was dismissed by the end of 2017, and it included the accusation that Biaggi (identified as “Defendant Davila” in the below court document) sent an email to the black man telling him to “go pick cotton you n****r”:

By 2017, racist Biaggi was once again making headlines for his racist comments, this time when he inexplicably attacked Beyoncé on Twitter and told the singer’s fans to “keep twerking to pay for your KFC”:

Despite the “three businesses” that he claimed to own in the above 2017 tweet, the racist Biaggi has now launched a GoFundMe to help finance his alleged election campaign. He’s promised supporters that all money he receives will go towards that campaign, and “whatever money it’s [sic] left” will be donated to an unidentified animal charity:

Despite raising more than his initial campaign goal, Biaggi does not appear to have actually filed to run for office in Wilton Manors, as he’s not listed as a candidate in the election, according to the Wilton Manors Municipal Election Campaign Treasurer’s Report. Str8Up has reached out to Biaggi for clarification on his alleged run for office and will update this story if he responds.

If Biaggi does plan to officially file, he’ll need to do so before the end of next month, and all donations made to his GoFundMe must be reported to the state. It’s not clear if money received over the GoFundMe goal amount can be legally donated to an animal charity, given that donors are intending to fund a political campaign.

Update 6/10/20:

While his campaign’s financial statements haven’t been submitted yet, Biaggi finally filed paperwork to run for office (as Juan Melecio), and he’ll be on the ballot in November. Biaggi has received some favorable media coverage in Florida, with both the Sun Sentinel and the local Fox affiliate completely failing to report on Biaggi’s racism and the defamation suit filed against him.
