“Shame On Jake Cruise!”
A reader emails me:
After the news that [Mike] Dozer is in fact HIV+ it sheds a whole new light on the “Condom are for pussies” scene! Dozer is HIV+ and Charlie Harding swears he is HIV-. Which means Cruise/Cocksure men shot a scene in California knowing full well that they were pairing an HIV+ and an HIV- in a bareback scene.
I’m sure Charlie probably said he was on Truvada so it was ok and he was willing to do the scene. Like Duckface, Charlie has a 58% chance of getting HIV…and it’s on a gay porn set, not in his real life.
You can do whatever the fuck you want in your real life. But, when you start bringing this type of risky behavior into the industry it’s unacceptable. Shame on Cruise for allowing this to happen and for promoting it with shock marketing like the “Condoms are for pussies” photos from the set.
Cruise’s reckless behavior pairing poz and neg guys together in a bareback scene is reprehensible and most likely illegal and subject to a HUGE Cal-OSHA fine! Shame, shame, shame!
Cal/OSHA’s been pretty busy the past few months with Kink and TIM, and I doubt a small time producer like Jake Cruise is on their radar. Unless of course they’re reading this…?
