Exclusive: Gay Porn Star Sebastian Young Declared A Sex Offender In Florida After Pleading No Contest To Child Porn Possession
In the summer of 2016, gay porn star Sebastian Young (legal name Joshua Noles) was jailed and charged with raping his 5-year-old daughter and giving her an STD, possession of child porn, and threatening to murder the police detective who was investigating him. Now, after multiple delays and continuances granted over nearly three years, Young has cut a deal with Florida prosecutors and been released from jail, and the entire case appears to be closed. Because this involved a minor, all court documents are confidential and details surrounding the case aren’t available, but here’s what I can confirm.
As previously reported in late 2017, Young was convicted of misdemeanor disorderly conduct for threatening to kill the detective investigating him, and he served 60 days in jail for that crime. The new developments on the child porn and rape charges came in yesterday, and as the Volusia County court website shows, Young pleaded no contest to 10 of the 20 counts of child porn possession he was facing. The state dropped the other 10 counts:
Young was adjudicated guilty on the 10 child porn charges he pleaded no contest to, and it’s possible that he was given credit for time served as part of the overall deal he cut. Young was released from the Volusia County jail yesterday, after serving nearly 1000 days behind bars:
Young was also ordered to pay a $720 fine for “Felony Crime Against Minor & Rape Crisis,” but because he’s applied for indigency, it appears that the fine will be converted to a civil judgment against him:
Finally, and most seriously, Sebastian Young (Joshua Noles) was declared a sex offender by the state of Florida, as a result of pleading no contest to the child porn charges:
With regard to the child rape charge, prosecutors and Young appear to have made a deal (the rape charge was connected to the child porn charges), because the state has dismissed that charge (“nolle prosequi”), as seen below:
As most will recall, Young was charged and convicted of multiple felonies over the last 15 years while concurrently working as a gay porn starĀ (when he wasn’t serving time in prison) for several of the biggest gay porn studios. In addition to the sex offender status and felony child porn possession he now has on his record (along with the misdemeanor for threatening to kill the detective), Young has been arrested for assaulting his (now ex-) wife three times, convicted of assaulting an elderly person over 65 (for which he spent nearly two years in prison), and arrested and/or convicted eight different times for drug, DUI, burglary, traffic, and battery charges.
Young will now be a registered sex offender in Florida for the rest of his life, and he’ll be required to check in with his local sheriff’s office multiple times every year. He’ll also have restrictions on where he can live and with whom he can live, according to the state’s sex offender FAQ page.
