EXCLUSIVE: Here Are The FBI Surveillance Photos From The Night Of Jarec Wentworth’s Arrest
EXCLUSIVE—Str8UpGayPorn has obtained the stills from FBI surveillance video taken just moments before accused extortionist Teofil Brank (a.k.a. Jarec Wentworth) was arrested in El Segundo, California last March.
These images are at the center of the latest motion filed by Brank’s lawyers, as his defense team is fighting to keep them out of the upcoming trial. The prosecution, obviously, is pushing back against the defense’s motion and wants all of these photos submitted as evidence.
The images show Teofil Brank inside of an El Segundo Starbucks and then in the nearby parking lot as he was—according to the FBI—picking up the title to that infamous Audi R8 and a $1,000,000 payment from his alleged victim, Donald Burns.
As you’ll recall, the entire meeting was a sting operation arranged by Burns and the FBI, who had lured Brank to the location with the promise of the $1,000,000 payment and the car title. Brank was told that he’d be meeting with one of Burns’ representatives, who in actuality was an undercover FBI agent. Their entire meeting was recorded, as seen in the photographs that Str8UpGayPorn has obtained.
After Brank was given the title to the Audi, he then followed the undercover FBI agent out to the agent’s car to recover the $1,000,000, where he was subsequently arrested at approximately 8:30 p.m. on March 4th, 2015.
In addition to the surveillance photos, Brank’s lawyers are objecting to one other image that was recovered from their client’s phone: A photo of Teofil Brank inside the Audi R8, with his foot on the dashboard and his tongue sticking out:
Brank’s lawyers argue that the Audi photo and the surveillance photos make their client appear immature and nefarious, respectively, and that the photographs would prejudice the jury against him:
A judge will rule on whether any/all of the photos can be submitted as evidence within the next few days, as the trial is scheduled to begin on July 7th.
Finally, in one other document from the defense arguing against the photos, Brank’s lawyers have accidentally(?) identified alleged victim “DB” by his full last name, Burns. Str8UpGayPorn identified Donald Burns months ago, but everyone involved in the trial is under a court order to only refer to Burns as “DB” in all public documents. As seen in item #2 below, the defense has typed Burns’ name. Oops.
