It’s been so long since Vadim Black was in gay porn (I think his last scene came out in 2020?), I kind of forget what, if anything, made him problematic and controversial all those years ago. Sure, there was his infamous appearance on MTV’s (remember MTV? it was a cable television network that aired music videos and reality shows) True Life: I’m A Gay Porn Star, where he admitted to using illegal drugs, and sure, he may have said he hated fags and all his queeny gay fans, and sure, he and his girlfriend (remember Kaitlyn?!) had a plethora of GoFundMeKickstarterSnapchatIndieGogo scams, but really, who didn’t?! This was the late 2010’s in a post-Rentboy, pre-OnlyFans era, and gay-for-payers had to do what they could to get by (e.g., commit fraud).
