Donald Burns Retrieves $446,995.60 From Extortionist Jarec Wentworth
It’s been over six months since disgraced Republican multimillionaire Donald Burns was extorted by gay porn star Jarec Wentworth for $500,000, and now a federal court has finally ordered that that money be returned to the Florida socialite.
Burns—who paid “envelopes of cash” to Sean Cody porn stars and male prostitutes after having gay fuckfests with them at his Palm Beach and Nantucket compounds—will receive a payout of $446,995.60, thanks to a final order from federal judge John Walter issued last week. Those funds were retrieved from Wentworth’s bank accounts and then frozen by the government when he was arrested last March.
In Wentworth’s trial last July, it was proven that the former Sean Cody porn star had extorted $500,000 from Burns after threatening to expose sexually embarrassing information about the highly litigious magicJack co-founder. Burns—who has at least two million-dollar lawsuits pending right now (one of which was filed against a La Jolla, California real estate agent after Burns discovered he couldn’t privately access a nude beach beneath the mansion he purchased)—will be receiving $446,995.60 from the court, which is $53,004.40 short of the full $500,000 he gave to Wentworth earlier this year. (During trial, it was revealed that Wentworth spent most of that money in Las Vegas and San Francisco before being arrested by the FBI outside of a Starbucks in El Segundo.) The missing $53,004.40 will likely be added to the fines and restitution included in Wentworth’s sentencing. Wentworth faces up to seven years in prison at his sentencing, which is set for three weeks from today, on October 26th.
Here’s the court’s final order of forfeiture, which states that the $446,995.60 be paid to Burns within 60 days of Wentworth’s sentencing:
