Str8Up’s Worst Of The Worst: Which Of These Was The Worst Gay Porn Scene Of The Month?
I spend so much time reviewing all the best gay porn scenes every month (not to mention recapping all the best gay porn scenes of the year), it occurred to me today that the worst gay porn scenes of the month deserve some attention, too. So, it’s time for a new recurring (assuming there are enough horrible gay porn scenes every month) feature, “Str8Up’s Worst Of The Worst,” in which you decide the absolute worst gay porn scene of the month. Here’s a quick reminder of what you might’ve been lucky enough to miss over the last 30 days, then please cast your vote in the poll below. There are no actual awards for the makers or the stars of these scenes, just the honor of being deemed the absolute Worst Of The Worst.
September 2021 was a particularly glib month for gay porn, with opioid-addicted widowers, depressed senior citizens, deranged wives being impersonated by their sons, and haphazard pick-up truck fuckfests with stars who deserve so much better. As if that weren’t bad enough, Ricky Larkin was in one of these scenes, too.
We begin with that Ricky Larkin scene, “Young Again,” which co-stars Michael Del Ray, who uses some sort of crystal power to transform into a younger version of himself (with the older version being played by Chi Chi LaRue) in order to attract Larkin’s character. Implying that Del Ray will grow up to become LaRue is the kind of shade I wouldn’t throw on my worst enemy. And then having him be attracted to someone as grotesque as Ricky Larkin? What did Michael Del Ray do to deserve this?
MDR is playing a role and collecting a check, so he’s obviously not to blame for this. Disruptive Films casting of porn pariahs Ricky Larkin and Chi Chi LaRue is the true disaster here (first the all-white studio launch, and now a LaRue/Larkin double whammy…could the studio’s producer Bree Mills be any more clueless?). All in all, a completely unwatchable mess.

This next scene is nowhere near as bad as what we’ve seen so far, but it’s easily the most disappointing scene of the month. Johnny Rapid and Vander Pulaski are two of the most recognizable and popular gay porn stars of their generation, and they deserved so much better than this. Here’s their boring and poorly produced pick-up truck fuck:
NakedSword is part of a major porn conglomerate with tons of money in the bank (they’re “the Netflix of gay porn!”), and this is the best they could do for stars of Johnny and Vander’s caliber? I’ve seen higher quality productions filmed on cell phones in Eastern Europe and uploaded illegally to Xnxx.
Last but not least, the most famous woman in gay porn was humiliated all over again at Men.com, with her son impersonating her at her wedding and then fucking her husband. We’ve seen these scenarios thousand of times, but they never fail to piss everyone off. At least Men.com is good at always provoking some kind of reaction (e.g., hatred, disgust, contempt) from viewers.
