Michael Lucas Violates English Law With Porn Shoot Featuring Over A Dozen Gay Porn Stars In Nottingham Rental House

Michael Lucas and his gay porn studio, Lucas Entertainment, can now add COVID-19 Super Spreader Event to the long list of disgraceful and illegal acts they’ve committed over the last decade, as the non-paying studio is currently producing a movie at a 5-bedroom rental house in Nottingham, England with over a dozen models and crew members.

Following a surge in coronavirus cases throughout the country, all of England began enforcing strict social distancing rules (and in some areas complete lockdowns) last Monday, and gatherings of more than six people from different households are against the law. Here are images of the Lucas cast in production this week, along with images of the home pulled from UK real estate site Zoopla:

In photos and videos tweeted publicly over the last week by various Lucas cast members, at least 11 different models can be seen cramped together in a single bathtub. This obviously doesn’t include Lucas himself (who can be heard off camera in the video below) and all the crew members, bringing the total number of people in the Nottingham rental house up to at least 14.

Photos and videos from the Lucas set have been tweeted over the last several days, while the amended laws on social distancing went into effect September 14th. Per the UK government:

Limits on the number of people you can see socially have changed. From Monday 14 September, when meeting friends and family you do not live with (or have formed a support bubble with) you must not meet in a group of more than 6, indoors or outdoors. This is against the law and the police will have the powers to enforce these legal limits, including to issue fines (fixed penalty notices) of £100, doubling for further breaches up to a maximum of £3,200.

I’ve reached out to a Lucas cast member and asked if anyone on set (models, crew, or Michael Lucas) had been tested for COVID-19, but it’s obviously safe to assume that no one has. (This story will be updated should they respond.) Many porn studios have resumed productions throughout the United States, and performers at most of those studios are tested for COVID-19 along with STDs prior to arriving on set (some are even being tested twice for COVID-19 if the shoot is out of state—once before traveling, and then once again prior to filming).

Regardless of testing, Lucas’s production is in clear violation of the UK’s mass gathering law, and I also asked if anyone on set was concerned about the studio’s violation of that law, or the penalties they might face. Again, given Lucas’s history, it’s safe to assume that they have no concerns.

Str8UpGayPorn has obtained an email from a Lucas Entertainment production assistant telling models about this week’s shoot (read it in full below), and in the email, the Lucas employee tells models that they won’t have to complete a “public health passenger locator form” because they were already in the UK and didn’t arrive via an airline. There is no mention of COVID-19 testing in the email, which came from a Lucas employee named “Brian” (legal name, phone number, and email of another production assistant has been redacted):

While most of the models on the Lucas set are young and appear to be in good physical health, they are, unfortunately, exactly the types of people who can be infected with COVID-19 but be asymptomatic, thus transmitting the virus and sickening (or killing) others without ever knowing. And the fact that Lucas is brazenly promoting the illegal (and potentially deadly) production on social media is a new low, even for him. The studio has even given promotional photos to Lucas’s advertiser, QueerMeNow (which, coincidentally, has turned off the site’s commenting function on the Lucas posts), who is ironically helping to expose the willful endangerment of UK citizens.

Just today, the UK reported its highest number of daily coronavirus cases in four months, with 4,422 new infections on Saturday. Given the out of control surge caused by mass gatherings, lack of social distancing, and Super Spreader Events like the one Michael Lucas is illegally hosting right now, England is considering a complete national shutdown in the coming days. The economic turmoil, hospitalizations, and deaths caused by those who choose to ignore this pandemic will never end, at this rate.

As of today, nearly 42,000 people have been killed by the coronavirus in the UK, putting them in 11th place globally (right behind the U.S., which is in 10th place) in terms of per capita deaths.
